Lecture Title: "Raman and NIR spectroscopy applications as a PAT tool for pharmaceutical manufacturing"Derya Cebeci received her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University on her works on Raman spectroscopy and its applications. Later, she joined US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a postdoctoral fellow, where she worked on Medical Countermeasures initiative (MCMi) to develop NIR spectroscopy-based methods for at-field screenings of pharmaceuticals. Derya’s research interests include developing real-time chemical measurement systems for on-line or at-field applications.
Derya is currently with Thermo Fisher Scientific as an analytical chemist, mainly developing Raman spectroscopy-based methods for biopharmaceutical manufacturing and supporting analytical R&D projects.
